"It continues to amaze me, when a number of students in our program don't even have a winter coat, gloves or a hat, yet they are determined to overcome the poverty they have grown up in, and they are on track to graduate from high school and attend college."
- ONG Community Volunteer
"My volunteer has been with me since I was in 2nd grade," reports Jamal, "he's like a big brother to me."

This is Our Next Generation.
Our Next Generation makes an important investment in our community, offering our next generation of children support to achieve a successful tomorrow.

In the early 1990s, a visionary group of volunteers formed The Homework Club and committed their personal time to help children from the central city area through one-on-one tutoring. Soon after, Our Next Generation, Inc. was formed as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.
Since then thousands of children have benefited from the tutoring and guidance of caring and concerned volunteers. Children participate in a variety of programs including the Homework Club, Learning Centers, the High School Connection, our special Middle School program, Transitions and our Outbound Learning programs in partnership with ManpowerGroup, Saint John's on the Lake, University of Wisconsin, University School of Milwaukee and our special robotics program at M.S.O.E.
For more than two decades our agency has been providing quality academic support and life skills programs to hundreds of urban children and youth, pre-K through 12th grades.
The results are amazing. Attitudes improve, grades improve, new visions are created.
