Helping children achieve their full potential, envision a better tomorrow and grow into well adjusted and successful adults is a right Our Next Generation believes all children have.   We are successful because we:

• Help children with the basics: reading, writing and math.  A solid foundation helps open many doors
  
• Make learning fun. Our center, our tutors and volunteers, and our programs make learning something to look forward to rather than avoid

• Help our kids envision a positive future and develop a personal belief that they can achieve their dreams

• Help our youth develop life skills to succeed in today's ever-changing world
  
• Broaden the range of educational and cultural experiences beyond the neighborhood
  
• Mentor youth to make good choices during adolescence: avoiding drugs, gangs, and anti-social behavior
  
• Show them the value of community giving and service
  
• Help youth who often times have little stability in their everyday lives find personal support from their peers and our staff, mentors and tutors
  
• Create trust and respect among youth and with our volunteers and staff.  Children develop the values they will need to be successful
